The fiscal year of the Society is the calendar year.
The Society exclusively and solely pursues non-profit aims and purposes by supporting the professional training of European lawyers and interested others in the field of European and international law. The Society intends to advance the knowledge and comprehension of European and international law and of the national laws of the countries of origin of its members by organising lectures, issuing essays and comments, organising meetings and conferences, initiating and supporting legal academic work and by supporting the professional interchange of lawyers, particularly by facilitating the co-operation between legal professionals from the countries of its members. Within this framework the Society can also deal with other legal systems.
